had to clean EVERYTHING today.
but i told the kids if we finished, and had enough time, we could walk to the red barn for a picnic lunch.
it's one of our favorite places to go! {amazing how many times i've posted about it! AND i love that "search" feature on my blog...makes finding them really easy!}
so, finished cleaning in 2 1/2 hours.
the last hour they watched a show.
why do i always feel so guilty about that?
i KNOW it's ok...but i still feel so guilty.
anyways, moving on...
sawyer had his first nectarine at lunch.
and it made for some GREAT pictures! {with some help from the red barn and the blue sky and green grass :-)
and his biggest sister...that can ALWAYS make him smile!
anyone else?? those pudgy little fingers and arms?? YUM!
and i trusted the older 2 with my camera to take some shots of me.
just so you don't forget what i look like ;-)
if i had planned on taking these, i probably would have spent a little more than 2 minutes getting ready. but, oh well. with all those wrinkles, taking the time to get ready doesn't really help that much...
we're trying to let joshua's hair grow longer...for once...it's hard.
it's a such an awkward stage...
this one.
um.
can you tell she's tough these days?
this was the BEST smile we could get.
"i DID smile...a little bit!"
and he was MAD to be held and stopped from crawling all over the place.
wanted to GO.
all of a sudden in the last week he's become a CRAZY baby...ALL over the place...into EVERYTHING {the toilet water - EWWW!!!}...HATES to be contained or stopped. and he's not even walking yet!
he was a little happier with a pretzel in his mouth.
this picture is blurry...but i love it.
good job, rebekah! captured a fun moment!
they did get to play for a little while, too! :-)

Owen is growing his hair out too :) He is a little ahead of Joshua. I've got to do something with the back but not sure what.
Great photos.
Oh wow that pudginess is the best!
He and Tess would be a bad combination right now...into everything!
i LOVE those little hands of sawyers holding the nectarine. that is adorable!!!! (not to mention his grin!) love the look on bailey's face... that is our paige right now too!! and you are gorgeous and happy as always in your pictures!! they were fun -thanks for sharing them!
I love all the pictures and the thoughts in your head and on your heart. I especially love the pic of you and Joshua ~ precious. A keeper. Love that you took pictures of you with each of your precious kids. Happy Summer Courtney. I cleaned out my pantries today and oh my goodness...the BIG green trash can is full. WHAT??? How can that be?
THAT'S what you look like when you DON'T get ready?!??!
not cool, courtney. not cool at all.
:)
love the shots. love them.
and as for wrinkles (ish, i mean, really!), I just like to think of them as indicative of there not being bon-bons anywhere near my couch. we work hard, right?!
much love-
love all the pictures! the kids did a GREAT job taking them! :)
You look beautiful and it looks like you had a lot of fun, way to go getting almost all your stuff done and still getting in the good stuff. Your awesome.
Love the photos with each of the kids. What wrinkles are you talking about? The crease lines where you smile?? Those are just there because you are smiling. ;-)
