His joy is precious.
but i struggle to find it more often than i'd like to admit.
i'm a thinker. and ponderer. and that makes me melancholy and DEEP and not super fun and joyful.
boo.
this is true. like, it REALLY happened. i was reading about some people that were joyful in the Bible. because they were remembering the things God had done for them and it just made them have GREAT JOY!
and i was tellling God, "i want that. i want that joy."
and bailey walked down the stairs RIGHT THEN. and plopped herself down across from me and started putting her hair in a bun and talking my ear off (it was 6:28 am) and i looked up and smiled because her shirt said, "think happy thoughts."
ha! God is so good!
He was all, "you want joy, my daughter?"
here you go...your child that EXUDES joy and she will have chosen to wear a shirt that will TELL you how to turn your heart towards joy.

love it!
I'm just wondering if you read Linny's blog http://aplacecalledsimplicity.blogspot.com/. Check it out if you don't. She has a thing in her house that she calls a Memorial Box where she keeps things to remind her family of all the ways that the Lord has blessed them. She is a serious prayer warrior and is full of joy...she's always an encouragement to me:).
I love this post so much. He is so good to us.
