friday. kitchen day. (december 27)

i spent the day packing up our kitchen. because in a week, our kitchen is getting gutted and remodeled!!! this has been a LONG time coming.

after that, i spent most of the afternoon making our last real meal from this kitchen...gyro's with lamb and tzatziki sauce.
recipe here. it was good. but a TON of work! and not cheap...

followed it by movie night with all of us. it was a good day!
