christmas tree 2013

we've NEVER ever done this...but we got our tree BEFORE thanksgiving this year. we ventured out on wednesday afternoon...and had a fun {cold!} time!

 goodness, i love him.
{he's wearing his glasses because i kinda put hydrogen peroxide in his eye that morning. on accident. it's a long story. i'm thankful he still loves ME!}

 watching dad cut the tree down.

 we were THE only ones there. here's the proof.

 i didn't know how far we'd get on actually decorating it. but we got it home, lights on...

 and fully decorated by bedtime!

i guess it's christmastime?!?
