1st season of football

joshua finished his first season of flag football.
i'm certain it is not his last.
he LOVED it.
even though they lost every.single.game.
it was painful to watch. but, even though he got frustrated and disappointed, he still LOVED every minute!

because it was our ONLY sport for this fall, we ALL got to go to ALL the games and cheer him on! that was fun (mostly ;-))

this last game was the only COLD one!

 joshua's all, "ok! i've got it! let's go PLAY!"

 he was definitely one of the smallest kids. and quickest. and most engaged in what was going on.
{even though they didn't win, he had some GREAT plays and touchdowns that we were able to cheer our heads off about!}

i didn't edit this picture at ALL. because this is EXACTLY what her coloring is. her skin. her eyes. i LOVE the color of her eyes...so unique and beautiful!

 and we can't finish without a goofy picture of lincoln :-)

good teaching lessons for us all...a complete season with NO wins. it did NOT turn him off to football at all.
