almost 7 months

it's been almost 7 months.

i wonder if life will always be "before july 1, 2011" and "after july 1, 2011"?? for now, it is.

since july 1, 2011, i think today was the first day that was peaceful the whole day. i never lost it. my blood pressure never shot through the roof. were things perfect? no. there was arguing. and i didn't get everything checked off. and i had to say "no" more than i would like.

but, it was just a GOOD day. and, there haven't been many since july 1, 2011. not that every day has been bad. just HARD. so join me in rejoicing!!!!

AND, it's not like we just were in our four walls all day.

we started our morning off at the dentist. all 6 kids. oh, yes, we did!

it was lincoln's first visit - he did GREAT! and they said his teeth looked great! hooray!

it was also sawyer's first time. his eyes were very sensitive to that bright light - so they had sunglasses for his watery little eyes :-) he also did great!

it was in the 60's today (cRAZY for feb around here!) and i'm SURE that contributed to making today so great. we spent LOTS of time outside.

rebekah, joshua and bailey brought home GREAT report cards so we had a fun treat of going to get frozen yogurt after dinner (that ended with our first fortune cookies!)

now pat is meeting with a friend and i'm headed out for a walk in the nice weather with a friend.
