laughter
lots of laughter this week...(and some complaining and arguing...but we're going to focus on the laughter, k?)

taken at the end of our last day together...after a LONG day exploring towns, hanging out on the beach, and packing all our stuff from a week away...but this picture still means the WORLD to me. these friends are so gracious to spend a week with our crazy family...with all our imperfections. they love us and encourage us and have fun with us. whatever we do...whether it's cooking dinner, putting sunscreen on 7 kids, looking at houses for our next beach trip together, getting our kids to sleep at night...it's a JOY to do alongside them.
i'm so sad it's over.
but so thankful for each moment we've had.

Oh SO good to SEE your beach week!!!! This is the first time I've gotten on a computer (laptop) all week. I have LOVED being free of "the world" for a bit. Only conversation, reading, napping, sitting on the beach, time in the Word, eating (yum!), did I say sitting on the beach? :) I loved seeing all your pics ~ your house, activities and people. Loved your pic of you and Pat, you and Rebekah, Sawyer laughing....your tanned face! Isn't it good to get away from "the routine". Thankful for your time. Can't wait to get caught up next week. Love you all! We head home Sat....with a stop in Fayetteville. :)
