HUGE step!

moments ago we signed off on our completed home study!!!

this is HUGE!!!

these words gave me chills...
"Therefore, the America World Adoption Association approves and recommends Patrick and Courtney Cassada to adopt two healthy, or minor, correctable needs, male children from Rwanda, age twelve months to six years of age. "

what's the next step, you ask??
well, i'll tell you!

once our social worker gets it to our agency on monday, our agency will read it over and then get 3 notarized copies to us {this will take about 2 weeks...more waiting...}

once we get those precious copies, we can send 1 of them in to the US government in order to obtain approval to adopt {and again...more waiting...}

BUT...for NOW... we are just thankful to be done with the homestudy!!

{i think she might have been questioning that recommendation when she arrived today...as all the kids PLUS others from the neighborhood were running around from house to house...some with no shoes...toys strewn (SP?) everywhere...at least when she arrived i knew where all my kids were! a few minutes earlier it would have been a different story! :-)}
