day with the grangers!!!

chari.
she is just one of those people.
you know the ones.
the kind that you can just BE with.
relaxed. yourself.
don't have to worry if your house (or heart) is clean...just be who you are.
she will love you no matter what.

i met chari in the bathroom between our 2 suites in our dorm freshman year.
{hey...this is a sneak peak to Part II :-)}
we were both in the bathroom crying over breaking up with the boys we had been "madly in love with" for 3 years. we were certain our lives were over.
we've had a connection ever since.
she played a big role in getting pat and i together. the 2nd time.

she lives way too far away from me.
and i don't see her near enough.
but i cherish every minute!
she was supposed to come visit for a couple days...but plans changed and we just got a whole day.
but we enjoyed it to the fullest!!!

she has a husband - who i also love. not as much as her. but he's great :-)
and 2 little boys...jacob and wyatt.

we had such a great day!
chari and i actually ate lunch just the 2 of us while all the kids were either at school, sleeping, or "resting." it was impressive.
lots of laughter.
"hey, mrs. granger..."
bailey finally got to hold wyatt.

walked to the duck pond and fed the ducks.

bailey threw one of her parties.
some snacks.
trying to catch up on life with all the LIFE going on around us!
some nursing of babies.
dinner.
even got them baths before they had to head out!

the kids loved having them here.

and i was very sad to see her go.
{we should have taken a pic at the beginning of the day...this was at the end of a very full day! whew!}
i love you, my friend!
can't wait til next time!
{and thanks for sharing her, tim!}

I am so jealous! I don't know Chari very well but wish I did... but do know Tim (or used to) very well, so she must be awesome and I love reading her blog when she can write and we have shared some emails... I will be back this Christmas and hoping to spend some time with Tim and Chari when I go to see my mom. Glad you had such a fun day. I too wish it was longer for you, good girl times are great!

Fun! Do I really have to wait until August to meet Wyatt for the first time? He is already so big and so adorable! Looks just like his brother. Glad you could be together.
