free day

we had originally cleared our schedule for today since we thought chari was staying.
so it feels like a "free day!"
fun!
last night i found out about a big truck show nearby.
lots of big trucks.
you can climb all over them.
we're there!

i CLEANED the kitchen this morning...cleaned out the spice cabinet AND pantry.
cleaned the fridge.
swept...mopped.
feels SO good!
by the way.
i'm done with my current cleaning schedule.
it's not working for me anymore.
anyone have a good one?

and these 2 played together SO well!
made me realize how rare that is these days.
they argue a lot.
and i use the TV more than i should.
but not this morning.
i stuck to my guns and they played GREAT!
good lesson for me..and them...

lots on my "list" that i'm pretty sure won't get done today.
which normally makes me CRAZY.
but today it's not.
why is that?!?
maybe the time with a good friend yesterday.
i think i forget how much GOOD that does my heart.
i try to just do and do and do...all on my own.

looking forward to catching up with pat tonight.
i feel like we haven't really TALKED all week.
and i don't like that feeling.
if i can get my act together...maybe i'll even make a fun dessert or something!
{hmmm...could i pull off getting the stuff to make a margarita?!?...leah...what do i need again??}

full, busy, weekend ahead.
but i'm not going there.
i'm going to enjoy today.
and be where my heart is TODAY.
