on the beach

we had SUCH amazing weather. which, i think, we've earned after multiple years of being evacuated for hurricanes and having most of the days RAINY. it.was.awesome!

we spent MOST of our hours ON the beach. also awesome. i could sit there all day (and did a lot of the time!)

enjoy...

 

here we have our group using a kayak, a surfboard and a boogie board. this beach was AWESOME to be IN the water...it was shallow really far out!

and we also rented a paddleboard. it was SO fun!

avery (home for 2 weeks from china!) did awesome. she didn't like the sand (obviously) but was amazing!!

joshua LOVED his skimboard...and got pretty good at it!

completely unsafe. but adoreable nonetheless - skimboarding with a toosie roll pop in his mouth. childhood..

when the tide went out, there were these awesome pools. (when the tide came in, there was NO beach!)

such a sport.

these 2. they are such cute friends...just like their older brothers!

hi, cute girl!! we all tried to keep a bit of distance from her, which was HARD! but we wanted her to KNOW who her mom was and not be confused...but she is the sweetest little thing!
