beach olympics

i came up with the idea of "beach olympics".
on the car ride home from our first beach trip, pat and i came up with the plan.
and, mostly, pat made it happen...because he's awesome like that!

we did it 3 different days. 3-ish games a day. most of the games were on the beach. a couple (one?) in the pool. the kids had a blast.

and the older kids were SO patient and good with the younger kids.

i liked this one the best.

the 2 teams were lined up from the person laying down, to the ocean. they had a sponge that they had to pass all the way and then squeeze in the cup until the cup overflowed.

they all went and washed off their hands :-)
