i have had 4 hours every morning this week with JUST this little boy. i've looked forward to it all summer. the other 5 are in tennis camp (and have LOVED it!) i had high hopes of all the things i wanted to do. mostly, i just did the normal stuff: laundry, cleaning, emptying the dishwasher, running errands...but had some QUIET to think while i did it. it was so nice. i also got to go for a couple walks with friends (and pushed levi :-)) and he and i read LOTS of books!

he plays SO well by himself. if i was working on the budget, he'd just bring a book and toy over and sit on the floor right by my desk and play. such a gift!

overall, he is such a happy boy. we still see bits of his history...and it grieves us (he is similarly obsessed with food, like lincoln. and he still startles when he doesn't see you coming. i HATE that one.) he can go from "happy go lucky" little guy to SO sad/NO emotion in his eyes to SO upset and like you've broken his heart in a matter of moments. he is definitely a super moody little guy.

but, for the most part, he's a normal 3 year old boy. loves to play outside. loves his dad and siblings and mom :-) loves to have fun and laugh. let you know when he doesn't get what he wants.

levi - i know you missed your brothers and sisters this week. but i sure had fun playing with you and looking into your eyes more!
