friday evening at the farm

it was a crazy week. lots of BUSY days for the kids, late nights for all of us, and (by choice, but still!) i talked DEEPLY to more people this week than i usually do in a month. we were all drained. in pretty much every way.

as i drove out to the farm with my kids on friday afternoon, i felt like i was grabbing them and RUNNING away to our happy place :-) the sky was SO blue. the temps were SO glorious. and our hearts were light. all of us.

 i had fun taking pictures while we waited for the tractor to take us out to pick blackberries...

 i love them so very much.

we picked blackberries and played. we shut the place down :-) and we'll be heading out there again as soon as we can!
