date night

pat and i have been better at going on dates together the last few months than we have been in the first 15 years of our marriage. partly because pat has felt challenged in this area. and partly because we have a daughter old enough to be a babysitter and do it gladly!

we are LOVING it!!

pat hasn't bought a suit since we got married. he doesn't have to wear suits to work usually, but he has a couple big meetings coming up that he is going to need them for. and he REALLY needs a new one. so, our task on this date night was to get him a suit.

we are GOOD when we shop together. we were in and out of 1 store in 30 minutes and purchased (and had him fitted for alterations!) 2 suits, 4 shirts and 4 ties. boom. done.

then we went to my new FAVORITE restaurant - CAVA.
i dream about this place.
think chipotle meets greece.
ah...it's amazing. and healthy. and SO good!
we had some pretty serious conversation and i kinda think we're going to remember that dinner forever and ever. it was one of THOSE conversations.

we had been so efficient with our "task" that we even had time to rent a movie when we got home!
