motherhood

This motherhood gig is pretty amazing. Sawyer got smacked across the face (it looks so much worse in person. Looks like he has a carpet burn across one whole side of his face) with a bat the other afternoon (an accident) playing in the yard with some kids. I was inside. He was screaming and holding his face and running inside. It was like he was a magnet to me and wasn't going to be ok until he was in my arms. Moms...our arms hold so much power. I am humbled and in awe that this is what I get to do with my life. (Sawyer is fine. Just fine :))
