a recipe. make it tomorrow night.

ok. i don't share recipes unless i LOVE them. AND they are relatively easy. and cheap. and most of my kids like them.

this fits ALL the bills. AND it's healthy, too!!

my friend, leighann, shared it with me. i love her for lots (and LOTS!) of reasons. and now i have one more reason to love her. she warned me to make a lot. and i did. and we ATE IT SO FAST!

i have no pictures. i'm sorry. it was gone so fast. and even the preparation was so fast and easy, i didn't even think to take a picture before popping it in the oven.

here you go. you're welcome.

Maple Chili Chicken
Bake at 350 degrees until done.
Salt chicken breasts, {like, right in the 9 x 13 pan you are going to cook it in!} drizzle with maple syrup, sprinkle chili powder until coated nicely. Flip and coat with more salt and chili powder. Bake.

that's IT!!!! EVERY single kid loved it. sawyer has NEVER liked any chicken besides mcdonalds or chick fil a nuggets (and can that even be called chicken?!?) my kids were BEGGING for this to be a WEEKLY meal. one said it was better than pizza?!? i'm not making this stuff up.

leighann said you CAN make it in the crockpot. but she tried it and it was dry. it was NOT dry baking it. so bake it.

i served it with these sweet potato chips. that you make in the MICROWAVE. that ALL my kids also loved.

wow. dinner was a hit. SCORE!!

I made this tonight! Bryan and I loved it...the kids were willing to try it which is more than they usually do with chicken. It was really tasty. And I made sweet potato chips too (but in the oven). Thanks for the great and easy meal idea!
