sabbath

for the last couple years (year? i don't know. enough that it's WHAT WE DO.) we've really tried to make sunday be a rest day. no chores. no homework. no birthday parties. no exercising. it makes saturday crazy and hectic, but when we get to sunday, it's worth it!

it's so nice to just be. to rest. to play games. to take naps.

and this past sunday was a rainy one. which is my FAVORITE rest day! and my parents sent us home with some leftovers...so i didn't even have to figure out dinner in our tiny kitchen...it was a good sabbath (but still didn't quite prepare me for what was to come...)
