christmas with my family

saturday evening we got together with my family to (finally!) celebrate christmas. it didn't matter that it was "so" late...it was still just as special and fun!

the night was light and fun and happy. it was just good.

it's blurry. but not any less beautiful to have us all there together.

 my parents made a yummy meal! and for the first time in 12 years, we didn't have a high chair!

in years past, we've drawn names for us "adult" siblings. this year we decided to bring a nice gift...and do it "white elephant" style. it was super fun!

pat had a special little gift just for john...

it's between them. but i love that they have each other in our crazy family!
