i've taken so few pictures this week. makes me sad. i think that the number of pictures i take is directly related to my emotions: happy = lots of pictures. hmmm...
here are the sparse showings.
last friday we went to a high school football game to cheer on juan - an amazing guy that we've gotten to know this year. it was his last game. God has some BIG plans for his life! i can't wait to see what they are!
sat nite. WII playing. i love that our WHOLE family can fit on that couch. probably not forever, but for now.
i've started "school" with levi. and bailey is my assistant! she wants to be a teacher when she grows up, so i thought i'd give her a little taste of it with levi.
after we're done "teaching" him, we sit together and make our lesson plan for the next day. so far she's learning a lot. he's not. ha!
and....another politician in the family! i could NOT believe my ears when rebekah said she was going to run for vice president. but, she did it. filled out the application. made the poster. wrote and gave the speech (that they recorded to be shown in class). there are 15 kids running for VP alone. they vote today. maybe find out tomorrow? regardless of the outcome, we're proud of her!
and one last one. i was NOT happy for this one. but it needed to be documented. levi + red sharpie. ugh. it's an ottoman. he is spending some time today scrubbing that thing. not because it's going to come out, but so that he spends some time thinking about his actions.
pat's shoulder recovery is going slower than he'd like. neither of us handle not being 100% well. it's not pretty.
yet. he's gearing up to take all 6 kids camping tomorrow for the weekend while i'm away running my half marathon. he's going with friends that will definitely help him out, but still...pray for the man.
