today i am driving home from a little road trip. just me and my kids. 10 hours-ish. it will be a long, hard day, i'm sure. but nothing...NOTHING will ever compare to 17 hours on a plane in the air with 5 kids...2 whom we hardly knew. THAT was long and hard and i've NEVER been so glad to be in America before. the feeling of relief when we landed was one of the sweetest moments EVER. my arms could.not.wait to hold my sawyer.
enjoy remembering it with us. thanks to jenn gorrie for capturing it and putting it together so well. this video...these pictures...are a priceless gift. and thanks to everyone (SO many of you!) who prayed us through the whole process, the trip to africa, who were there to greet us. we are so loved and so thankful for the many ways you all have loved and cared for and encouraged us.

What a SPECTACULAR day that was ~ for your family to be WHOLE again...Lincoln and Levi and Sawyer to be under your one roof! God's hand was with you and He still is. God's blessings to you all as you continue this journey...growing up your precious kids for His glory!
