such a protective gesture, taking hold of our right hand.
when do you take hold of someone's hand? i take hold of my kids' hands when we are crossing the road, or when i don't want them to get lost if we're around LOTS of people.
and intimate. i hold pat's hand when we are on the same page, when i want to say, "here i am. i'm with you! completely. right now."
God is protective and intimate with us. what a Father!
