carried

we are in deep waters around here.
we think we're in deep...and then a wave crashes, and we realize the previous day was shallow compared to this.

we know we are carried. we feel it. carried by God and His love and peace. carried by those that we cry out to when we can't cry out to Him ourselves.

we would covet your prayers. for us, for lincoln, for all of our kids and how all of this is affecting them.

we KNOW that God loves him so very much. we KNOW He has a great plan for his life.

we are giving him everything we have..the love we can, the guidance we know he needs. and when we feel empty of those, we trust that God fills in the spaces.

but we know that we can't do this alone.

from day 1, before we even knew who our boys were, you have carried us. encouraged us. prayed for us and them. and we are asking you to continue. adoption isn't a fairytale. it's beautiful..but so so hard and ugly at times. the road is long and feels incredibly steep at times  (a lot lately!)

we are not hopeless. and sometimes it feels like the ONLY reason that is is because of others carrying us to His feet...and we are humbly asking those of you that desire to, to join them.
