i feel like i spend a whole lotta time talking about lincoln around here, and very little talking about this cute little guy.
so, want to hear about him?
he's pretty much the CUTEST thing ever. his eyes. his cheeks. his sweet little hands.
to think back on his demeanor when he came home...and his demeanor now...he is NOT the same child. he is SO happy, full of giggles, full of LIFE and JOY. he LOVES all his siblings. still has a sweet connection with rebekah. he and sawyer have developed a STRONG bond this year in the mornings and they are ALWAYS together.
he loves to "wrestle", is very brave and has little fear (scary for mom!), he still LOVES water and will drop anything else for it (this will help with potty training - which will happen soon-ish. ugh.) he seems tall for his age...but it might just be because the rest of our kids are kinda on the scrawny side... he isn't picky with food...except he doesn't like eggs ?? he is talking like CRAZY...and making sentences and makes sense and is fun to talk (and listen!) to! he still has the LOUDEST, saddest cry when he's upset...and he can turn those tears on like faucet.
between easter (the end of spring break) and the start of summer, this little guy is going to be potty trained (my LEAST favorite parenting chore) and will be moved from his crib to a big bed. big days ahead! he's ready for both...we just are taking our time :-) he's our last baby!
he LOVES his mommy. one evening last week, i was headed to the grocery store. rebekah had to stay and get some school work done, so i told all the kids they could either stay home and play, or come with me. EVERY one of them chose to stay home...except levi, "i go you." the other kids were BRIBING him with candy and "i'll play wrestle with you"...nope. "i go mom." melted my HEART! so, just levi and i went grocery shopping. i'm not sure i've ever been alone with him for that long? he talked my EAR off and we had such a fun time!
i love him like crazy.
