you have been patient. but things still aren't the way i would *want* them to take pictures of my house. but, i realized they never will be. i mean, if you look closely, laundry is in the middle of being done in BOTH of these first pictures! oh well...
this is before:
and after: {have hardly hung anything back on the walls...partly just haven't gotten to it...and partly i don't want to! the walls look so CLEAN!}
before:
after:
{ha! just noticing that both times j and b were in the kitchen...doing homework/packing lunches. but PROOF that they were taken at pretty much the same hour and it's a HUGE difference in lightness!}
eventually there will be more changes (in the next couple years. we are taking our time as we save up money and energy to deal with the stress that ANY house project takes!) that will "go" with the walls better. i know that the cabinet color and wall color don't look awesome together. but we are headed in the right direction!

ahhh...doesn't it look so BRIGHT!?? i LOVE it!! the colors before were fine...warm...but made our house darker. i LOVE light and brightness. and i could NOT be happier with this!
the color is Duron, "Snowfall". it's a super light grey.

That looks great, Courtney! Nice choice of paint color!
Very pretty! And a very appropriate color for today :)
Love it!! It does look so much brighter.
I love how much brighter it looks! Will you eventually go with white cabinets?
Pretty!
I totally did the opposite thing! I went from white walls to tan. Lol
It looks awesome. I can't believe how much brighter it is. Good thinking, girl!
Love it, we did a very similar light gray in our kitchen and dining room right after Christmas. We have the same issue with the cabinet color, but like you said its a work in progress. But your right about the color making rooms look bigger and brighter.
