one hour on a thursday afternoon

i have been using my phone camera more often than my "big" camera so much lately.
but i LOVE my big camera. and decided to put it on my shoulder for an hour yesterday afternoon...to catch some of those "everyday" moments that so often flit by and are forgotten.

bailey wears her flower girl dress to school at least once a week. i love it. it's so her. and she's getting our money's worth out of it!!

 4 year olds? still my favorite. especially this one ;-)
he woke up yesterday morning and threw up (nothing..because it was before breakfast. i was thankful for that!) and then was FINE the rest of the day. weirdest thing ever!? but i'll take it! and it made me move a little slower yesterday...and be home and change my priorities a bit. good stuff.

 he is the kid that would spend MANY minutes in front of a screen if we let him. we don't. and he's such a good kid, that he doesn't make it miserable that we don't. we only "do" screens from friday afternoon through sunday. but he wanted to show me a new game they learned in computer lab...

 my mom gives the kids ONE of these chocolate advent calendars every year. bailey was "helping" sawyer get his chocolate out yesterday...

 he came out of school with his sweatshirt on backwards?? on purpose?? kids are crazy sometimes....

 his train conductor hat. ALWAYS carrying an animal around. eating his snack (was reminded to be IN the kitchen right after this adorable picture was taken :-))

 everyone cheers when she walks through the door. that has to be a great ending to your school day, right??

 this picture is awful. BUT. i love that you can see that he has that orange hair tie on his wrist. he wears one of those most days. they are rebekah's {and are all OVER the house!} i love that.
