days of kindness over...

this was our last day of kindness for this year. and it happens to be my favorite one!
we bring bowls of candy to the post office...and the kids go up to every.single.person and ask if they would like one, while i mail my christmas packages!
people are ALWAYS a little skeptical...and then they love it and most of them take one!

this is what happened to our cute acts of kindness banner the next morning.
over. done.
"mom. where are the acts of kindness?"
gone.
you guys canNOT be kind to each other for 1 SECOND. i've reminded and disciplined and yelled and cried and prayed and i'm just beyond frustrated so no more FUN acts of kindness. let's work on just being kind to those around us for now.
they were sad.
but i think my point got across!
yesterday afternoon was DELIGHTFUL around here...and i told them so. i also told them they are MORE than welcome to continue to do acts of kindness on their own!

i am SO close to being done with my christmas shopping...these 2 little guys liked the list on this day! they got some peanuts out of it ;-)

{and sawyer wanted to EAT at five guys. i said no. he said, "why?" i said, we just eat at restaurants on special days. he said, "it IS a special day! it's Christmastime!" ha! cute. but not cute enough...i have your bagel with peanut butter on it in the car, buddy ;-)}

happy friday! hoping for another nice afternoon around here...especially because it's movie night! and i REALLY want to see the movie on tap for tonight (The Nativity Story!)
