like, full on conversations in my head. they have been CRAZY this week.
"go, courtney, go. lots to do." "no. stop. take it in. deep breath, do NOT let it take over."
and on and on.
new dinner. just for me (my kids would NEVER eat this. actually, levi ate the squash off my plate one night before i could get to him!) kobacha (sp?) squash, just cut up like a canteloupe and baked. with peanut butter and chia seeds. pretty tasty! and pretty healthy, right?
spent some time with hannah the other night! so so fun! to catch up on NORMAL life. hear how MARRIED life is :-) and LAUGH til we cried! love her!
rebekah had a ceremony for "all A" honor roll!!! this is a HUGE accomplishment for her and we could NOT be more proud!
we raked some leaves. and played in them, too :-)
still finding a few dumb nits in her hair every day. i KNOW we are almost done. everyone else is still clear. still washing bedding and vacuuming over and over...just to make sure none are hanging around!
this little boy will literally walk up to me, middle of the day, stuff going on, and hug my legs. and look up at me and say, "i love you!" he kills me. i LOVE spending our mornings together!
pat's sister had a baby GIRL this week!!! abigail sophia. she is precious and beautiful and we couldn't be happier!!!
but MOSTLY this week, i've spent most of my thoughts and any spare moments i have preparing our home, life, schedule for Christmas. it truly is magical...because of Him. we usually decorate all in 1 day...maybe 2. this year it started this past weekend, and it will go through this weekend when we go cut down and decorate our live tree. it's been fun, slowly bringing the decorations out, watching the kids just spend time with each thing. it's pushed me to work harder to get things in order so that we can just take in the season of Light in all it's glory!
i've crafted more this week than in the past 6 months! it's been fun!!planning out our days of kindness and our "gifts" that the kids open each day (books and movies we own but that they open one day at a time).
and, just for laughs, this was bailey as she was packing her lunch this afternoon. i don't know WHAT i would do without her!!
lots more to do tomorrow, but i'm hoping that at the end of it, i'll be in a good spot to sit back and enjoy all that the month ahead will bring!
