hard work!

we finished our 5k training this morning!!!!
8 weeks.
3 days a week.
MANY painful moments.

but, they did it!
they all ran 35 minutes straight today for the last day (not quite a 5k for either girl, but close enough.)

i'm so proud of them!

the actual 5k we are going to do isn't until sept 15. they don't know yet that they have to keep running ;-)

{what's with the veins popping out of my head?!?}

spent the rest of the morning doing chores. i had a list on the kitchen counter. they had to do all their normal chores. plus a bunch of other ones. they worked HARD. for about 3 hours. closets cleaned out, under beds, games cabinet completely cleaned out (all pieces back in the correct games!)

ah...feels so good!

um. some of us worked harder than others....but that was rewarded appropriately with a little treat after lunch and sawyer was a very sad little boy. maybe he'll work harder next time. ;-)
