i feel like most of my posts lately have such big POINTS. this is just life. just everyday...

lincoln would be an amazing gymnast. but we're not going down that road.

took him to the eye dr for a follow up the other morning (over 2 hours there. wanted to shoot myself in the HEAD!) his eyes are getting stronger. he'll always wear glasses, but he's seeing more clearly WITH his glasses, which is great!

spent a WHOLE morning at the pool the other day. this used to be how we spent MOST summer days. the last 2 summers, these kinds of mornings have been rare. that makes me sad. and want to think through next summer more intentionally...

we bought all the kids school supplies the other morning. i know. WHAT?!? it was the LAST thing i wanted to do. but i have 4 kids to buy for. and 6 kids to drag down the aisles. i knew it would go better when no one was in the school supply aisles...rather than when everyone and their mom was there! we threw all the bags in the basement and won't think about them again! it IS nice to have it done!
