dinner on the BEACH!

last day. boo.

john wanted to shave his hair off. and he wanted the kids to do it. is he brave or what?!?

{notice lincoln couldn't put down his pancake to do it.}

my dad took the kids on golf cart rides pretty much most of the day - in shifts.

during the afternoon, he had the older kids, and we let sawyer stay up while lincoln and levi napped. it was SO fun to watch him play on the beach by himself. he is the cutest.

we had dinner on the beach that night! it was our night to cook. we cooked hot dogs and italian sausages. and brought it down to the beach.

then hannah and john led the kids in building the funnest sand castle!

joshua had to get in a few more boogie board rides.

pretty impressive, huh??

AND, because hannah and john are the BEST...they then all jumped on the sand castle and destroyed it in .2 seconds, after spending 30 or so minutes building it. isn't that every kids dream??

a fun, sweet ending to a wonderful week!
