first weekend of summer!

finished our first week of 5k training on friday afternoon! everyone is doing GREAT!

tropical smoothie was giving anyone that wore flip flops free smoothies that day! we scored big time!

my aunt and uncle gave us the BEST gift at christmas - gift cards to go see a movie - enough for ALL of us! we took everyone on friday evening to see madagascar 3. we didn't know how it would go. but they all did great! dinner ended up being those big smoothie's and we all split a large popcorn.

you know your life is crazy when the most relaxing part of your weekend is the 5 hours you spent with your 6 kids at a swim meet. true story. kids swam great. little boys did great.

bailey got totally dehydrated. and slept the ENTIRE afternoon and night. it was kind of scary. thankfully we were just having friends over for dinner and we could let her rest and recover. (she literally slept from 1 pm until 7 the next morning. needless to say, i did NOT sleep well!) she woke up on sunday her normal chipper self! whew!

had a great day celebrating pat and who he is to us. the BEST dad around!!! he got to pick where we went to dinner - Uno's (he LOVES their pizza!)

and after a weekend doing life with him by my side, i feel like maybe, just maybe, i might survive this summer :-)
