don't forget who they belong too.
(or who you belong to for that matter ;-)

You are an amazing mother and it has been a blessing to me reading your thoughts while you were in Africa. I was in Kenya much of the time you were there and was thinking and praying of you sweet family a lot! The jet lag will pass, things will settle. Thank you for sharing your journey!!

One day at a time ~ you HAD to do what you did yesterday...it was the first day. You did a GREAT job! Sleep will get better. Things will settle. Just do what you need to do TODAY and know you are being prayed for!!!!! See you tomorrow! I know it seems....overwhelming. I love you.

Remember, it's ok to relax. In fact, it's necessary for you! You will eventually run out of fuel if you dont slow down to refresh yourself. you are an amazing mother! But sometimes, mothers forget that we have to recharge ourselves in order to keep pouring ourselves into those we love. Blessings to you as you take on this new day! :)

Praying for you this morning Courtney. A very wise friend told me in those first weeks home when I was struggling to balance three kids (only three!), one of whom was NOT adjusting well to being a big brother, that I was right- I could not do it. Just like God had carried us through the excruciating two year wait, he would carry me through this. Praying that you feel his peace and grace and strength with you today. You are right- it is overwhelming and you can. not. do. it. BUT, He can!

Take a break, Court, and just pour in 77%, which should be equivalent to the average human.

=)

You were made for this.
