it was 24 hours of awesome-ness!

pat and i had 24 hours this weekend alone...well, not exactly ALONE...but without kids!

after the kids' games on saturday, i took them to my parents' house - they got all 7 grandkids for the night! lucky them ;-)

pat and i did a few chores (i know...but life goes on!) and then grabbed a YUMMY mexican dinner (guacamole and a margarita - PERFECT start to our time together!)

we bought tickets to the zac brown band/kenny chesney concert MONTHS and MONTHS ago.
way before we even got our approval..much less our referral!

i LOVE both artists and was so excited (pat likes zac brown band...he thinks all of kenny's songs sound the same)

this is the 3rd kenny show we've been to. his shows are SO fun. he's a GREAT entertainer and the atmosphere just feels to fun and carefree! (um...some AWESOME people-watching there! wow! that's all i'm gonna say about that!)

the night felt PERFECT! the sun went down, there was an amazing breeze, i had pat on one side of me, and my sister and her friend, sarah on the other side. it was so fun!

apparently it was "white shirt night"?!?!

spent today at church (for the last time before we have 6 kids!), eating lunch just the 2 of us, running a couple errands, and taking a quick nap before we got the kids.

so thankful that we had scheduled this time in MONTHS ago. it's kinda like God knew...fancy that! ;-)

headed into a cRaZY week ahead...TONS of activities and the never-ending list of things to do before we leave. we're in good shape, though. if we had to leave tomorrow, we could!

1 week and we'll be on our way to our BOYS!!!! ahh!!!
