yesterday

sawyer and the playground had a fight.
he won a big lip. that he loves to tell everyone about.

and insisted he needed a band aid for.

everyone helped make daddy's cake...

yum!! {just chocolate cake with chocolate icing and reese's cups on top. i might have eaten 3 pieces of it today...}

joshua had a baseball game.

can you see bailey? and can you tell how joshua is smiling? man...that girl and her attitude. it's just about too much! {actually...it IS too much sometimes!}

this picture cracks me up...bailey telling someone something {who knows...whoever happens to be standing by}...sawyer trying to find his roly-poly on his hand/arm...and joshua switching out his helmet for his cap at the change of the inning and headed  back out on the field. rebekah was at soccer practice. i left to take her...and then went back again to pick her up.

came home and did cake and birthday gifts for pat before we herded them to bed...whew!

i don't think it was his best birthday yet...but it's our life right now. i love sitting on the couch with him and talking for a few minutes after all the craziness of our days has been put to rest. even though most nights these days we're both so tired we can barely carry on a conversation...i just love being together.

yet i still can't sleep at night. go figure.
{i think a tylenol pm is in my future for tonight. i can't keep going like this.}
