and i love target.
check this out:
now, before you judge, i count this a wise decision - buying this pan that makes "cut-out" cookies without having to cut them out.
my children on a daily basis plus this adoption process plus running in 13 degree wind chills 2 days in a row plus the gingerbread house village {making it and now managing the eating of it} are taking ALL the patience i have.
i DO NOT have extra patience to roll out and cut out and re-roll and cut, etc...cookies for my kids to decorate.
we WILL decorate cookies.
and this is how we will get there.
see? wise decision.
thank you, target. you are the best.
today's activity with sawyer before his nap was hanging out by the tree.
when we got back in the house from getting bailey on the bus, he holds his hands up to me and says, "freezin'". then turns and walks away, saying, "wash them." he was going to put his freezing cold hands under running cold water!
i redirected him to the tree and he sat on my lap and i held his pudgy little hands in mine for a minute to warm them up.
then he wanted the train on.
then he lined the people up on the presents to "wave hi!"
{don't you love how he always has to have his hood on if he's wearing a hoodie?? i do.}
then he got bailey's tag reader and a book that's NOT a "tag" book and played with it for a minute before we were back to waving "hi!"
i kinda like how he just does each thing for about 30 seconds. makes it more fun.
that's all. gotta go.
i'm SO SO close to being DONE with christmas shopping!!!!!!!!

did you find it in the holiday section or the cooking/baking section? thank you for sharing this wonderful idea!!! :)
Let me know how that works! Id like to see pictures as you use it! :)
i'm skeptical of that pan! i don't get it! but yeah..i think target loves us all! :)
caroline does the same thing if anything she has on has a hood. it would be cuter if I wasn't always having to redo her hair :)
My favorite part is the line of people saying hi. :)
Garrett's the same way with the hood...and I love it!
I gave in the other day and got the new Target credit card. I just couldn't keep shopping there and not get 5% off everything I buy. I know I pay my cards off each month, so it wasn't about having more ability to charge. I just couldn't pass up the 5% discount every time I pay there. It is actually on the receipt (instantly off your purchases) every time you check out...-5% if you use that card. So I gave in. And of course I haven't been there since...LOL! Glad you found the cookie pan...if I was a mom who ever did cut-out cookies with my kids, then I would buy one. But that is a tradition the boys and I have never started. We'll stick to round shaped chocolate chips!
