getting up for church this morning was HARD after the last few days...
took a 2 hour nap today and woke up not knowing WHERE i was or WHY i was there.
it was a GOOD nap.
if it wasn't sunday (rest day) all the christmas decorations would be down.
but, they aren't.
we spent the day (besides church and naps) playing games and reading books and looking into our kids' eyes.
and there you have the reason for rest. it was good.
headed out in a few minutes on a date.
just me and pat.
to dinner and a movie.
i can't remember the last time we saw a movie in the theater - i think it was blind side.
i can't wait.
paper in my purse to go over "goals" for the new year!
we were supposed to get snow today but didn't.
i was disappointed. but moved on.
the christmas decorations come down tomorrow. first thing.
i WILL get to posting about christmas day.
i've gone through the pictures...just have to get around to posting them.
perfect week ahead: pat will be home some. some big "goals" to get done. some fun people to see.
it's gonna be good.
it would be PERFECT if rwanda would like to send some news ;-)

we are taking down our decorations today too... I am up and ready. We live in such a small space it is so hard.... to function and feel we have any space with all the extra stuff around and my dad sleeping on the couch... so today we are taking everything down...usually we wait until after he leaves so it feels still like Christmas!
What movie did you see?
Pray you had a great date night... I am going to try to get one with my dad here to watch the kiddos!!!
dude. our decorations were lucky they didn't come down on the 25th.
they were fun but I was done!

i was so ready to take my down too. after every body left our house Christmas day i (half jokingly/half seriously) asked john if he wanted to take down the tree. enjoy your week!
