this was what bailey woke up to on christmas eve morning.

so so sweet!

after a little miscommunication, we celebrate with pat's parents around lunchtime on christmas eve morning (we EACH thought we were doing it at our own houses! both houses were set with lunch and everything! the craziness of the season!}

{this picture might seem random...but pat and his dad love to fish and he got his dad some cool fishing pole....}

then we all headed out to pat's aunts house. the group was a little smaller than usual because one family was sick {sad!} but we had a great time visiting!

and, instead of gifts we just do a white elephant with a theme. this year was "edible." it's a fun new tradition!

and home to get READY for christmas morning!!!! it was a long, full, busy day. i was SO SO tired.

{also might have had something to do with the 12 miles i ran first thing in the morning. HARD run...i was pretty much dying the last 4 miles. thankfully, my running group pulled me along and i made it! it was one of those runs that was SO hard yet i'm still feeling the rush from having finished it!}
