sunday morning worship

we had a fire going by the time the kids got up on sunday morning.
it was a sweet time...seeing them come out of their rooms into such a cozy atmosphere.

we headed over to the goetz' cabin for a big breakfast and a little worship service.

pat taught a lesson on the "tongue" using a small toothpaste tube. it was really easy for the toothpaste to come out of the tube, but when the kids tried to put the toothpaste back in the tube, it was hard to do. kinda like the words that come out of our mouths...they come out quickly and easily but it's impossible to take them back! we had some fun singing a few songs and then got ready for a hike!







we ended up getting rained on pretty hard on our way back during our first hike.
but the kids did great {we've been caught in the rain on enough walks around our neighborhood that it didn't phase them too much}
