huge snowstorm coming.
joshua's 6th birthday party tomorrow afternoon...smack dab in the middle of the snowstorm.
his first ever "friend" birthday party.
that he has been SUPER excited about.
was trying not to freak out about the snow ruining it.
it was at 4 pm tomorrow.
i was going to have all day to go grocery shopping (for the party AND the next week!), make the cake/clean/set up...
until they cancelled school for tomorrow!
more than 12 hours before any snow is supposed to fall!
so...we moved the party up.
to 11:30 am.
which meant i had to go to the grocery store this afternoon.
with the rest of the WORLD!
would you look at the shelves at the 3rd store we went to?
seriously??
i'm also getting up even earlier tomorrow morning to try and get 12 miles of running in...since there will be no running in 2 feet of snow on saturday.
i've got a crazy 24 hours or so ahead of me.
but then we'll be snowed in and have a GREAT weekend together!
{and hopefully a nap!}

for someone who's been excited these past two weeks that the snow is ONLY two feet now, this makes me laugh!
but I can also imagine how frustrating that must have been!

Yeeks! I feel the pressure ~ sleep good, run good, and party away ~ then.....crash while it snows!
praying for you!! the things we do for our kiddos huh??!! :) it seems truly unbelievable to me that the "dc area" cancels things before the snow even starts. but i remember that happening so many times when we lived there! sleep well tonight! and REALLY sleep well tomorrow night!
