Grandmommy {Pat's mom} came to visit this morning...read the kids books...I got to go to the post office by myself...then we went and ate lunch with Rebekah.
i know she was mostly here for the kids.
but it was a bright spot in my day, too.
we are blessed with amazing families!
and i have been reminded that my children are watching.
and taking in all i'm feeling.
so i need to get my emotions under control.

We were JUST talking last night about how it affects the kids when we are stressed. There is a lot to handle. Looks like you've got your priorities in good order :)
jealous of your family so close by.....I can't relay to you the size of that BLESSING from my point of view.

been in freaking tears today a couple of times ;-)

um...that's 'kids' but I couldn't see what I typed through the tears! wow...I'm a mess - maybe I should just go read some books to the kid'a'/'s'.
you're right. i was telling david the other night that our kids are old enough to be REMEMBERING the things that we say and do...and how overwhelming that thought can be!
