i ran the 10k with my dad and sister 2 years ago.
this morning we ran the 2k as a family.
pat, me, rebekah and joshua ran the whole thing.
bailey and sawyer had a fun ride!
the kids saw lots of their friends.
the proceeds from the race go to a school in Uganda.
there was an African children's choir there...singing and dancing...{they've been in town for the past week or so}
not sure if they are the actual kids the proceeds go to {Veronica...do you know??}
bailey had the camera for part of it...
joshua did awesome...it was a challenge for him to run the whole thing!
and i think rebekah will be running the 5k next year.
this was too easy for her...and we were too slow for her...
what a great start to our day!
now we're changed and headed out to my parents for the day!
MUCH to be thankful for!

Yes I believe these kids go to the Humble school where the proceeds go to. Sorry we missed you at the race! Meghan and Tim did great on the 5k!! Happy Thanksgiving!!

that is awesome. Zach and Eli would have loved to run with you! My dad just read to me an article saying that there was a Krispy Kreme race here, where you ran from Mt Trashmore to Krispy Kreme (2 miles) had to eat 6 glazed doughnuts and then run 2 miles back. Zach would have loved this... I think.
You guys are the cutest! Cary was jealous that you have that opportunity to run that race. Have fun this weekend!!
