none of my kids have ever had trouble breathing.
i think i might have been the most scared i've ever been as a mom...seeing him basically gasping for air.
besides when bailey was throwing up for 5 days.
the only thing that kept me from driving him to the emergency room was that his demeanor was normal. he was still smiling and walking around full force.
and, really, i have a lot to be thankful for with that.
many moms have the fear i had today on a daily basis.
anyways...just croup.
they suctioned out his nose {TONS of gross stuff came out!}
and he still pretty much sounds the same.
hoping he sleeps ok.
he didn't really nap at all today so it could go either way...

Nora and Sophie get this almost every time they have a cold....it was scary the first several times - I still don't like it...Nora has it right now.
Humidifiers (with Lemon Eucalyptus Essential oil in the little tray thingy), and elevated sleep positions have been our best finds for it.
SOOO glad he's ok!!!!
ugh - beth's son had croup when he was harrison's age. very scary. those vapor plug ins help a bit. jacob had bronchialitis when he was 2 months, and it was SCARY - not being able to breathe is scary and scary sounding!
oh that is horrible... so sorry. praying for him
