we've had a busy day.
but so much fun.
the weather is PERFECT...70's, sunshine, AWESOME!
we started the day at joshua's soccer practice/scrimmage.
sawyer was SO fun to take pictures of...obviously...sorry in advance...there are LOTS!
he had a BALL with the BALL!
i don't know if you can tell these things at this young age...but this kid is crazy about balls and can actually throw them pretty well! we'll see...
joshua was fun to watch too...
{it was picture day, which we weren't participating in, and it was kinda obvious since all the other kids had their uniforms on! oops!}
the morning sunlight made these pictures so cool!
look at those pudgy little hands holding that ball.
SO cute!
he would stand up, pick up the ball...
throw it...
and then try to walk to get it, but fall down...and then he'd crawl to it and do it all over again and again and again.
i love this "new walker" position with his arms out :-)
i know it won't be long before he's running around.
i'm enjoying this!
watching his big brother out there...
then we headed out to the farm.
we didn't pick anything.
just played.
and i let them take turns deciding what we were going to do...we putt-putted and petted the bunnies and jumped on the bouncy thing and played at the playground and cleaned out the playhouse and swung and went down slides and rode the pedal cars...
this is the only picture i took because i was just busy enjoying them!
then...the town we drive through to get to the farm was having a Country Fair today.
we went back to that and had fun just walking through it all.
lots of people.
lots of yummy food to smell.
lots of cool crafts to look at {if i was alone :-)} but i could tell they were there!
some fun activities for the kids to do.
we plopped ourselves down at one point and ate our picnic lunch.
the city we live in is total "suburbs of a big city"...i mean, you've seen it, nice houses, trails, perfect for us and we love it...but not very, um, authentic? i don't know the word to use. anyways...i just love that little towns like this are so close to us...little towns that still have a "General store" and no traffic lights.
i'm a city girl.
i wouldn't want to live there.
but i love visiting it.
and breathing in the atmosphere around it.
i missed tons of great pictures.
there were so many fun things going on!
but i had my hands full!
{check out that window i bought for $5! i don't know what i'm going to do with it...but i'll find something!}
we have a slower paced afternoon/evening planned.
but it's going to be fun!
