rock bottom

***may contain some sarcasm and exaggeration...beware...

i haven't posted.
maybe you've noticed.
kind of that whole "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" idea.

the weather has been AWFUL.
rainy. cold. windy.
we literally can't even go ONTO the beach.
for DAYS.

we LOVE the people we're with.
but we're all on top of each other.
this afternoon...after going to walk up and down sand dunes for a couple hours and exhausting them this morning and making puppets out of paper bags...then some "rest time" apart...and painting nails...and a water balloon fight...there were some kids that were literally clawing at each other's faces.

so some of the dads decided to take some of the kids to the indoor pool
{such a NICE thing about the neighborhood we're staying in!}
and...
the indoor pool was closed because someone POOPED in it!

so...rock bottom over here.

i know.
we have SO much to be thankful for.
we're together.
we're healthy.
we're with so many people we love.
on VACATION!
blah, blah, blah.

it stinks.
i have NEVER had a vacation with such awful weather.
we might as well have not even brought our bathing suits.
