we had surprise after surprise for the kids...
first of all, instead of our normal "cereal in 5 minutes" breakfast...we are going to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast before we take rebekah to school!

pat says,
"guys.
we aren't taking rebekah to school.
and i'm not going to work.
we're going to the zoo!"
{remember how we tried over spring break and it didn't work out?}
i LOVE that i captured his reaction!
and this is a "i still can't believe what i just heard!" face
so...we're home {mostly to let me take a shower} and to pack our lunch.
the kids are making scavenger hunts for each other of animals to find at the zoo...because they are about to jump out of their skin with excitement.
pat is finishing steam cleaning the carpets {he started last night - it's GROSS how dirty that water is!}
then we're headed out!
we are getting there EARLY so there will be parking! :-)

i am way jealous (and so thankful) that there is not a baskin robbins and dunkin donuts at the end of our street (or just in our city for that matter!) those two are my favorite. my fav ice cream and my fav donuts!! so jealous! :) what a fun day for you guys! those surprises are the BEST and i hope that all of your plans work out and you guys have an awesome family day!
