loving this book...

"The moment you wonder whether or not you can do it, you can't."

"Humility is throwing oneself away in complete concentration on something or someone else."

"The deeper and richer a personality is, the more full it is of paradox and contradiction. It's only a shallow character who offers us no problems of contrast."

From "A Circle of Quiet" by Madeleine L'Engle

wanting to do things without "wondering"; live my life with humility; and be full of contradiction (not hypocritical...they are different)

take a peek at her commentary if you like. and hey- if i can get like 5 friends to read a book at once, i can get a good cliff notes version and thereby "read" more books and much faster :)
