just your average monday afternoon

soon after rebekah got home from school, i noticed this.
termites "swarming" by our front door.
inside.

and outside.
GROSS!
the termite guy is coming tomorrow.
i think he got a kick out of me,
"sir, what can i do in the meantime to these things?"
they won't hurt you ma'am.
"i don' t care. they are flying all over!"
when they die, just wipe them up.

i sprayed the heck out of them...i wasn't about to wait til they lived out their short little lives.

sawyer sleeps in the exact same position as me.

look at his sleepy little eyes...awwww...

bailey still has a temperature of 102ish. day 3 (or 4...?) of it.
she has moments where she feels pretty crummy
(although she's a LOT quieter and i have to admit that has been kinda nice)

but we still played the "fish game" :-)

and once that tylenol kicked in this afternoon, we even went for a little walk.

just your average monday afternoon around here...

sorry about the termites! :( i think Katy had those in her house a couple years ago in one of the kids rooms and she was very bothered by the whole situation! :) hope they get it taken care of for you!

love all the pictures! and hope Bailey is feeling better soon.

eww gross. i had my first termite exposure the WEEK that I was due with callie. i called the bug people totally FREAKING out. they came out that afternoon, and i was a wreck. i kept spraying them with windex (the ammonia kills them), and once they treated the house, we were fine. but gross!!!

and bailey looks pretty pitiful in these pictures...glad you got some fresh air in there for a bit.
