after i read this. people often accuse the poor of being lazy and just waiting for someone to "rescue" them. this will change that view. and hopefully challenge you to give.

I read this the other week, and it was just so great. To see how hard those people worked and how badly they wanted that water for their community. It will be so much more of a blessing to them, because of their desire to have it and their perseverence to get it. If only we would challenge ourselves to the same hard work for the things we consume.
