we're home.
12 hours in the car. 2 hours there. so glad we did it.
the kids did great - even sawyer.
i was wrong. bailey doesn't pronounce sawyer's name like a southerner. we were with "real" southerners in Fayetteville and Spring Lake, NC yesterday. THEY say "saw-yer" (we say "soy-yer")
bailey sounds more like a new yorker or something...i think.
looking forward to naptime. i think we'll ALL rest good!
then time to get ready for the coming week!

I thought about you guys yesterday! So glad the kids were good for you!
Oh - I am SO glad that it went so well. SO glad that the trip was peaceful and a GOOD trip... Good for you and good for the family too. I know they were glad to get to see all of you. And so now I know why David says "Saw-yer" instead of "soy-yer" like me (same with lawyer vs. loy-yer) I guess it's a southern thing!!! Interesting!
